The enigmatic pseudometeorite presented here in the form of a 3D scan was discovered at the crumbling wall of the largest animal processing industrial complex in Germany. It was part of the complex's visual and auditory isolation concept and is made of a material commonly used for sound insulation in highway walls.
The fragment and its discovery become the centerpiece of a speculative fiction story, intricately woven with themes of ethics, ecology, research, activism, and surveillance. This website presents a translated and shortened excerpt from the original German story.

The 3D scan presented here is stripped of its original texture; a glossy-metallic material was added instead. For web-compatibility purposes, the model's triangle count was reduced.
Fieldwork was conducted between 2020-2021 at multiple animal processing industrial complexes in Germany. Artifacts were found in Rheda-Wiedenbrück on April 24, 2021, documented in: Pascal M. Dreier, 'Widerständige Akteur*innen, Narrationen und Körperdatenkörper: Tierliche Im/mobilitäten im Kontext der Tierindustrie.' Diplomarbeit, 2021. Appendix 7.
